artist showcase #10

halfxtiger

@halfxtiger

I am a creative, always was.

When it came to art, I  always lacked in consistency. I create a lot of different work with different technics and a variety of styles.

I found myself asking what to do with vector illustration, digital collages and 3D animations in a web2 world?
I found the NFT space and decided that this where my work and I belonged.

Now in web3, my NeonxAge Collection is growing and each neon flashes a light on the metaverse.

Other recurring themes in my work are surrealistic combination,  camouflage, Dürers Praying Hands and of course tigers...

You have not even seen the half of it.

how we discovered
halfxtiger

HalfxTiger was one of the earliest supporters of us and our work, being one of the first ever owners of Two Sad Smoking Girls, a 30 piece collection we ran as a proof of concept.

The sale that HalfxTiger gave us was a very special moment in our NFT journey and it’s with incredible honour that we feature him in this showcase.

The use of neons in a tangible, physical style is so unique, so identifiable that we strongly believe this is an artist who will go very, very far in this space.

Imagine these NFT’s hung on a wall in a bar, with dynamic traits that could flicker on and off depending on the time of day.

There is so much potential here and we can’t wait to see where it develops!

upcoming work

As always, I’m working on several projects at once.

In my offline world, I’m spending time dabbling in tailoring, calligraphy and leather work.

In my online world, old friends like Photoshop and Illustrator are being joined by new expression possibilities. The busier, the more productive.

I will continue to explore the wonderful NeonxAge™ in the NFT space.

A new collection “World Wildlife Massacre” that is very close to my heart and had its beginnings about 20 years ago is just waiting to be minted.

It deals with endangered species and a part of the proceeds I will donate to the WWF.
