ANA NFT

artist showcase #15

ANA
@ANANFT_

I’m Ana, from Barcelona in Spain!

I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember, but my story in art began at school when I was 8 years old. I drew manga characters on wood and sold or swapped them for toys to my classmates!

Around that time, my teacher realized I was good at drawing portraits and called my parents, who helped me start art classes with a freelance artist. Oils, watercolours, pens... I’ve been drawing since that day.

In addition to my full-time job and everyday life with my children, I started my NFT journey as a 1/1 artist in January 2022 with my first drop and now I am working on growing my collections and developing my style.

My work is sophisticated and emotional, focused on the women’s figure and nature.

how we discovered
Ana

Ana was one of the first artists we fell in love with when we joined this space and are honoured to feature her in this special artist showcase.

A mythic quality runs through much of Ana’s incredible body of work. whether that’s through the wildlife and enchanting creatures surrounding her subjects or the tattoos, flora and accessories adorning them, there is a wellspring of symbolism to pick through.

Her colour palette and the women she depicts are both powerfully understated. Subtle pastel, creamy tones beautifully compliment the withdrawn and delicate expressions Ana favours.

These are grounded with bursts of red and inky, charcoal purples that gives each piece an earthy depth. I highly recommend going through Ana’s earlier works too so you get a sense of how her command of colour has grown and matured over time.

UPCOMING WORK

I really enjoy being part of this inspiring decentralised world. I think Web3 is the next big revolution and I want to be part of it.

My plan is to keep learning, creating and developing my style while I grow my community and relationships.

I am currently working on my Foundation collection, “Wild Wings’ where I am trying to introduce my love for tattoos and Japanese style into my feminine characters.

I can’t believe how much my art has improved these past months. I am really focused on learning new things, such as improving my art whilst building up my personal  collections and portfolio.
